Welcome to the Transport Association website.

Fourteen members of Elddis Transport (Consett) Ltd, including their MD Nigel Cook, completed the Great North Run in aid of their nominated charity, Willow burn Hospice.

Elddis runners were further incentivised by Nigel Cook’s promise of £1 for every minute faster they could complete the run than him but as Nigel had a good run this only raised an extra £90. The total raised by the Elddis team was over £4,000 which takes their fundraising for Willow Burn to over £25,000 since they first nominated the charity in July 2007.
